Dear Parents, This newsletter includes the upcoming assignments and other information for the week of November 11th to November 15th. Friendly reminders... Charity Road Race: Saturday, November 9th at 8:00am. 400M/1K/4K are the distances of the different races which are based on age groups. Register with Coach Dylana and pay Manuel in the front office. We look forward to your support for Mari Cruz! Ill be there cheering on my students and parents too! Saturday Family Activities: There will be activities after the charity road race from 9 am to noon. They will be selling pipas, have different booths, and even a slip n slide ! MAP Testing: This next week, the students will take the math and science MAP tests. These will be on Monday and Tuesday. Please have them eat a big breakfast, get a good nights sleep, and arrive at school on time. Thank you! Dress Down Day: Tuesday, November 12th for 500 colones to support NHS Half Day: There will be a half day on Wednesday, November 13 th so that the teachers can have their in-service training. Students will be released at 11:50am. Bake Sale: Wednesday, November 13th students will be able to buy treats during break to support the 6th graders for their graduation. School Pictures: Your childs school photos will be sent home on Monday, November 11th. You can either pay for the photos in the front office (Manuel) or return the entire photo package by Friday, November 15 th. Questions you can ask your child about school: How did your first two MAP tests go (reading and language arts)? What is your strongest smarts from the multiple intelligences test? What mini projects have you done recently in Spanish class?
