1. Click Retail > Setup > Retail scheduler > Channel integration > Real-time Service profiles. You will see the following form:

2. Select an existing profile, or press CTRL+N to create a new profile. 3. Enter a name and a description for the profile. 4. Enter the following information on the form for the new profile: a. Server Enter the server name or IP address where Real-time Service is running. b. Port Enter the port number that the web service for Real-time Service uses. i. This is set by the bindings of the website in IIS on the server that hosts Realtime service. You can find the settings by:

1. Start > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manage

2. Right-click the web site named CommerceDataExchangeRealtimeServiceWebsite or the name of the

website that your company used and select Edit bindings...

3. In the Site Bindings window, you will then see the port numbers bound to the specific protocols.

c. Protocol Select the communication protocol that Real-time Service uses. i. There must be a binding for the protocol you select in IIS. Using the steps from b, you can see which protocols the Real-time service web site is bound to and add more bindings if needed. d. Web application name Enter the name of the web application that hosts Real-time Service. i. This is the name of the web application from the site referenced in the instructions in step b. In this case, the value would be

CommerceDataExchangeRealtimeService.

e. Common name Enter the common name for the certificate that is used to establish an encrypted channel with Real-time Service. f. Passphrase Enter the passphrase that is used to authenticate the POS connection. g. Language Select the language that is used by the AOS instance. h. Real-time service version If the service has a different release version than Microsoft Dynamics AX, select the version of this instance of the service. 5. Sync the profile to POS or the online channel using 1090 Synch Service job.
