Skills and Works Solutions are currently recruiting a Tutor / Assessor to carry out the Induction and initial assessments of
learning and development needs of clients/learners. To be based in Trafford.
The duties of the job include:

To carry out induction and initial assessments of learning and development needs of clients/learners.
Planning and delivery of group and individual learning sessions/activities and other interventions, as required.
Monitoring learner/client progress towards learning and development outcomes.
Management of learner/client progress reviews.
Planning and administering assessments inc. NVQ and Basic Skills/Functional Skills, where appropriate.
Evaluation of learning and development.
To promote Skills and Work Solutions programmes/services with new clients/learners and establish positive
relationships.
To interview clients referred internally, by external agencies or self-referred and identify suitability and eligibility for
Skills and Work Solutions programmes.
Carrying out induction programmes to learners/clients individually or in groups.
Carrying out initial assessment of training needs analysis inc. Basic Skills, Personal and Social and Vocational
Development.


We would like to hear from you if you have/are:

Experience of working in training and assessment, guidance, advice & counselling environments.
The ability to analyse and assess key information provided by learners/clients.
Good presentation skills with groups and individuals.
Effective planning of learning activities and other interventions.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good time management and administrative skills.
The ability to deal with challenging behaviour.
