NOTE:-
The relevant qualification andexperience are bare minimumbasedupon the Recruitment Rules (RRs) for
Non TeachingPosts prescribedby the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi vide letter No.F.No.33-
2/2012-TS.III dated5thFebruary, 2014andthe Institute may fixthe criteriafor short-listingthe
candidates higher than the prescribedbare minimumqualifications as per recommendations of the
internal screeningcommittee as well as actual or specificrequirement of the posts. Hence mere fulfilling
of the minimumqualification does not entail the candidates eligible to be calledfor trade test/interview.
General Instructions:-
1. The reservations will be strictly as per Govt. of India norms.
2. The person(s) who fulfills the conditions above may submit their
application on the prescribed formas available in the Institute
website http: / / www.nith.ac. in.
3. The application formduly completed in all respect along-with the
necessary supporting attested copies of certificates/documents
should reach "The Registrar, National Institute of Technology
Hamirpur HP-177005HP" on or before 25th July, 2014by
5.00PM.
4. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one posts should
apply separately for each post.
5. Mere fulfilment of minimumqualification and experience
requirements does not entitle any candidate for test/interview call.
Short-listing criteria may be set higher than the minimum
advertised.
6. In case of large number of applications received, the Institute has
the right to set higher norms than the minimumwhile short listing,
may be done based on academic performance and quality/quantity
of relevant experience or trade test may also be conducted. The list
of short listed candidates will be displayed on the Institute
website.
7. All qualifications, experience and age limit will be considered
as on the closing date, i.e. the last date of the submission of
the application form.
8. The Institute reserves the right of rejecting any or all the
applications without assigning any reason thereof.
9. Persons serving in Government and Semi-Government
organizations must send their applications complete in all respect
through proper channel by speed post or Registered post. However,
an advance copy of the same may be submitted before last date of
receipt of application. They are required to submit NOC at the time
of appearing for interview.
10. The persons with disability (PWD) shall be required to submit the
Medical Certificate issued by the competent medical authorities for
the purpose of employment as per Government of India norms at
the time of test/interview.
11. Original documents/Certificates will have to be produced at
the time of written test /interviewetc. for verification.
12. The applicants are required to visit the Institute website regularly.
The names of candidates eligible for further participation in the
selection process shall be uploaded on Institute website.
13. After the interview, the parent organizations of the candidates in
the panel shall be requested to submit certificate of vigilance 85
integrity clearance and true copies of ACRs/APARs for the last
three years, then the offer of appointment shall be issued.
14. Additional sheets may be attached, in the same format, wherever
the space allocated is insufficient.
15. The applications received after the due date will not be considered
and rejected straight way.
16. Incomplete application formor without supporting copies of
certificates/documents will be summarily rejected.
17. Canvassing in any formwill lead to rejection of application form.
18. No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained fromthe
candidates regarding conduct and result of interview and reasons
for not being called for interview or selection.
19. The Institute has the right to increase/decrease the number of
vacancies advertised.
Howto apply
1. All applications must be accompanied by non refundable processing
fee of Rs. 250/ -in the shape of Demand Draft in favour of Registrar
NIT Hamirpur H.P. payable at Hamirpur (HP)-177-005.
2. Interested candidates may apply only on the prescribed application
form, which may be downloaded fromthe website www.nith.ac.in. No
other application formwill be entertained.
3. Application forms complete in all respects along with attested copies
of certificates, should reach the office of the Registrar on or before the
last date of receipt of the application. Incomplete application forms
will not be entertained.
4. Caste Certificate of SC/ ST / OBC should be on the prescribed
proforma only issued by the competent authority as per Act/ Orders
of Government of India under which the same is recognized as SC/
ST/ OBC.
