demonstrated accomplishment of the SDA programs learning outcomes:

As reflect on the process as whole, truly felt that this was such a meaningful
e!perience for me through the creation of my "#$ortfolio to presenting it to the portfolio
committee% &his process was a culmination of the time, wor', e!perience, and heart that put
into this final piece of the (SDA pu))le*%
n creating and putting together "#$ortfolio, felt that was very intentional of the
Artifacts that had chosen% wanted it to not only represent my best wor', but also to
represent my passion in certain areas of student affairs% felt that each artifact was a
testament to at least one of the learning outcomes of the SDA program% also felt that it
e!emplified the diversity of how deliver and understand my learning throughout my time in
the program% &hrough presenting my portfolio was able to share my learning in innovative
ways through written wor', $re)i presentations +e!% Artifact ,: $re)i presentation of &CC
-eadership Academy., and Animoto presentations +e!% Artifact /: Social 0edia and Adult
"ducation.% 0y portfolio also demonstrated my 1 core themes2 access, e3uity 4 student
engagement in higher education%
n my presentation, felt that it was a very personal reflection of the 5ourney have ta'en
thus far% 6hen presenting my portfolio introduction and in the critical dialogue with my
committee, felt that was confident and prepared to connect theory, practice, e!perience, and
my own identities to my portfolio and learning process as a whole% &he saying (t ta'e a
village to raise a child* could not have been more apparent in this final piece and presentation
of my portfolio% had a moment in the presentation that was completely overcome with
gratitude and 5oy in being able to share my e!periences and 5ourney with every person in the
room +committee and guest included.% "ach person there has had such a positive influence in
my 5ourney, and has helped to shape the professional that am today% &he ease of sharing my
stories, answering 3uestions, and sharing my thoughts and e!periences in front of them was
such an overwhelming yet gratifying e!perience%
n my own personal reflection and the criti3ue of my $ortfolio committee, found that
my future implications and areas of growth in student affairs was to be more concise with
pairing the SDA learning outcomes with my "#$ortfolio% truly appreciated the affirmations
and also feedbac' that they had given me in regards to be more intentional about ma'ing the
connection between learning outcome+s. and professional practice% &he areas of growth that
need to wor' as a continuing student affairs professional is my attention to detail +especially
in my written wor'., continuing to develop my presentation and facilitation s'ills, and being
able to articulate my message effectively through writing and speech%
