INFORMATION

The undersigned accuses Edmund G. Fernandez of the crime of Murder under Article 248 of
the Revised Penal Code with the following attendant circumstance of treachery, committed as follows:

1. That on the 20
th
day of July 2014, at about 10:00 0clock in the evening at One Mango
Avenue, General Maxilom Ave. Cebu City, Philippines and within the jurisdiction of this
Honourable Court, the above-named accused, with intent to kill, with the use of a firearm, taking
advantage of nighttime in committing the offense, and with treachery, then and there, wilfully,
unlawfully and feloniously shot DENNIS BELTRAN twice, hitting the latter fatally on the back
of his head, thereby causing his instantaneous death.
