In NX their are four files
4.Simulation Part
3. Fem Part
2. Idealize Part
1. Master Part
The part file contains the master part or an assembly,
and the unmodified part geometry.
The idealized part file contains modifications to master
part geometry to make it suitable for analysis.
Nodes, elements, and physical and material properties
are stored with the FEM file.
Boundary conditions and solutions are stored with the
Simulation file.

Assign a material using a mesh collector
1. With the FEM displayed, right-click a mesh collector and choose Edit.
2. In the Mesh Collector dialog box, click Modify Selected.
3. In the physical property dialog box, click Choose material.
4. In the Material List dialog box, select a material from the Materials list.
5. Click OK in all dialog boxes.
Create a new material
1. With the FEM displayed, click Material
Properties.
2. In the New Material group, select the material
type from the type list.
3. Click Create Material.
4. Enter a name for the material.
5. Enter values for the material properties.
6. Click OK, then click Cancel to close the Assign
Material dialog box.

How to Reassigning an Existing material
Go to FEM File.
In fem file Under collectors Select the collector right click Edit

Once you click EDIT , popup window of Mesh collector will appear.
Again click Edit icon marked in red, Popup Window of Physical property
table will appear.
Again Click Icon Marked in Red

Popup window of Material List appear
In that click on local material
Local material list will appear
Click on the material You need to Reassign.

After selecting the material click OK to all dialog box

GO to Sim File and Re-Run the analysis.
