Column Design - at Design Office

This document provides information for designing a column. It specifies that the column is unbraced and slender. The axial load is 350 kN and bending moments are 40 kNm and -20 kNm about the major and minor axes respectively. The column dimensions are h=225mm and b=225mm. Reinforcement is designed using BS 8110 charts, with 16mm diameter bars spaced at 150mm and 6mm diameter links. Shear and crack control checks are not required due to the low axial load.
