Storage Capacity

Hexadecimals are used instead of binary because they are quicker to type, easier for humans to read, and easier to convert to binary than decimal. Hexadecimals represent numbers and quantities of bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes, terabytes, petabytes, exabytes, zettabytes, and yottabytes in multiples of 1024 units. The document also provides a table showing the number of 3MB photos that can be stored on storage devices with capacities of 1 kilobyte through 1 yottabyte.
