Thermostat4.0L SOHC
Removal and Installation
1.

Partially drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding in this section.

2.

Remove the bolts and the accelerator control splash shield.

3.

Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. For additional information, refer to Section 303-12.

4.

Remove the upper radiator hose.

5.

Remove the bolt.

2.

Disconnect the hose clamp.

3.

Position the hose aside.

Remove the bolts, water outlet adapter and thermostat.


Inspect the O-ring seal. Install a new O-ring seal if necessary.

6.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
