Runners are currently removed manually from containers using a sharp knife, which can lead to inconsistencies in container heights of approximately ±1mm due to variations in the removal method. An automated cutting system is suggested to provide a consistent cutting method and procedure in order to solve this problem and ensure containers meet specification requirements for height.

Runners are removed from the container manually using sharp knife. Sometimes the way

they removed the runner, will affect the height of the containers. This inconsistency or variation
can make the containers out of specification even if the different is only 1mm.
Suggestion: In order to solve this problem, automated cut system with consistent cutting
method and procedure is provided.
