Create Offset in Mapinfo

Create Offset in MapInfo

Requirement:
i.

TAB files of the required Drive Test measurements.

Steps:
i.
ii.

Open MapInfo Professional


A window saying Quick Start will appear. Click Cancel
File
Open
A box will open. Select Preferred View
Current Mapper. Go to the destination
where the TAB files are placed, select the tab file in .TAB format. Click Open

Repeat the step iv to load all the TAB files you want to make Offset.
Query
SQL Select. Select the Table name you want to move. Unselect
Browse Results.

Right click on workspace


Old Layer. A box will open saying Layer Control.
Make the selected table Editable.

Objects
Offset. A box will appear saying Offset Objects. Select
Move
Objects. Change the angle
180 to move the object Left, angle
0 to move
Right. Change unit to meter and distance according to requirement. Click Ok

Repeat Step vi-viii to move all the required objects.
