Checklists 2mo

This document provides information on infant development milestones at 2 months of age. It lists skills in social/emotional, language/communication, cognitive, and physical development areas that most babies can do at this stage, such as beginning to smile, making sounds, following objects briefly with their eyes. It advises parents to track their baby's progress and discuss it at well-baby doctor visits. Parents should talk to the doctor if their baby is not meeting milestones like responding to sounds or supporting their head, as this could signal developmental delays.

How your child plays, learns, speaks, and acts offers important clues about your

childs development. Developmental milestones are things most children can do by a certain age.

Check the milestones your child has reached by the end of 2 months. Take this with you and talk with your childs

doctor at every visit about the milestones your child has reached and what to expect next.

q Turns head toward sounds

Cognitive (learning, thinking, problem-solving)
