First sequence
It is a silent, motionless and common afternoon, January 12th 2008, Mill Hill
Estates.
Production title as Obtuse Production.
(Fade in to the first scene)
Establishing shot of the street, with the houses in the scene.
A long shot of the neighbourhood, followed by the voice of Nora Evans (Mina).
The camera follows the voice of the girl, until it reveals her to be playing with
her doll.
Title; on screen, overlaps scene. ( Mina Abed )
Nora: And after Mummy makes us tea, well go to Allys place, okay and your
dress is so pretty, you need a bath.
(On going spontaneous speech)
Title; Directed by Lacey Paige Thomas on the footpath.
(Scene Two)
Tracking shot of Ronald (Shawn) walking into the scene.
Sound; The faint voice of Nora still speaking
Title; camera harshly jumps from the scene to a title; Edited by Mareia Abed.
The camera shows Nora walking, Ronald can be seen walking behind her.
Title; Moain Yakoubi ( camera)
Camera tilts up to reveal the boy smoking. ( Only lips are shown), an extreme
close up is used.
Title; On screen, with the scene in the background ( Shaun McEvoy)
Sound; silence
Nora turns around and smiles at Ronald. Ronald then whispers utterance in
her ear.
A two shot of the characters is used, followed by the girl dropping her doll,
emotionless. An extreme close up shows the boy stepping on it.
Sound; silence, only the sound of the doll falling and breaking is emphasised.
The camera then zooms into the doll, leaving darkness, followed by the title.

Sound; Humming starts to fade in. ( soundtrack )
(Scene Three)
The camera pans from left to right, in order to show the forest, followed by the
characters entering the scene.
A human puppet is revealed using a dolly zoom from Nora's POV. She stares
blankly at the two characters.
Sound; Quiet and humming.
The camera then shows the two characters from the puppets POV. Ronald
pulls Nora from her coat.
Sound; Shuffling, and the humming stops.
The camera zooms into the puppet, as it stares blankly at the scene.
Sound; Screams.
A close up of the puppet is used to show its sinister side. She begins to smile
once Nora stops screaming.
Title; Production Company and the name of the Film.
