Miss Lefebvre is relaxed and confident standing in front of the class. She knows the value of being well prepared and it was reflected in the excellent she taught. She has all the attributes of an excellent
teacher. The experience she will gather over the next few weeks of her placement will give the opportunity to perfect these skills.

Miss Lefebvre is pleasant and genuinely interested in what the students have to share. She frequently
uses positive praise for the students effort at answering questions. Her questions were directed a wide
variety of students. She made a point of giving each child a chance put forth a comment. Miss
Lefebvre has taken the opportunity to learn each child's name quickly.

Miss Lefebvre is an active part of the staff. During her non teaching time she also works with the
Grade 7 & 8 students. Her Practice Teaching Binder is up to date, well organized and neat.

Miss Lefebvre was able to incorporate specific curriculum expectations drawn from the Ministry
document. Her plans contained ample details in all the components. She is knowledgeable in the
content she is presenting to the students. The lesson presented in a logical sequence that flowed
smoothly. The assessment component would require a little more attention. Her overall planning skills
are very good.

Miss Lefebvre introductory activity had the students engaged and willing to work. Her instructional
strategies are well developed. Her ease with the new technology has really enhanced the student
learning. They are able at this early age to navigate through activities on the SMART BOARD. Great
job. Her uses of the senses (smell, sound, fell, sight and taste ) with POPCORN made this a really
tangible learning experience that the students will not quickly forget. She is well organized and knows
the value of being well prepared. Her material was ready and easily available. She was able to pace
the lesson to match the students' needs.

Miss Lefebvre models the appropriate communication skills both the oral and written form. She is able
to maintain a positive learning environment were students are praised and eel secure in sharing their
thoughts. Her classroom management skills are well developed. She was able to redirect off-task
behaviour with one word or a visual cue. She consistently reinforced positive behaviour.
