A Lecture-Discussion Model is a model used to teach overall information by combining the individual facts and concepts and showing how they
relate to each other.

Theory

Plan

The theory of this model encompasses facts,


concepts, and generalizations and their
relations to help students fully understand the
topic that the teacher is trying to teach. The
theory of this model is social cognitive.

Identify topic- Identify the specific topic that youre


going to be talking about.
Specify learning objectives- Identify what you want
your students to learn/understand from the topic.
Structure content- Organize content material on how
you will be teaching it.
Prepare lesson instruction- Make students interested
in the new course material. If possible tie in
previouse material.
