Ensure no person is working on the equipment

Ensure Equipment is not charged


Availability of Excitationin power supply and
control supply
Check Tap position of transformer.
Check Breather silica gel condition, Conservator
oil level, Bushing Oil level
Check all the out door panels are in closed
position
Ensure 6.6 KV PT should be in rack in position
and control Supply is in ON condition.
Ensure 220 KV C.B. control MCB are in ON
condition and Local/Remote selector switch is
kept in Remote position.
Physically Check respective isolators are in
closed position.
Ensure all logics and protections are in service
Ensure OFF indication on MIMIC
Panel/DCS/breaker cubicle/Control &
Monitoring panel/SCADA is glowing
Give Clearance for Switch ON the 220KV
C.B. from MIMIC Panel/DCS/breaker
cubicle/Control & Monitoring panel/SCADA
After Switch ON the 220 KV C.B., Ensure ON
indication on MIMIC Panel/DCS/breaker
cubicle/Control & Monitoring panel/SCADA is
glowing
Check the voltage in all three phases at 6.6 KV
incomer panel.
Check the current in various phases and record
