Mechanism Lab Final

This document summarizes a final project to design, build, and simulate a quick return mechanism used in manufacturing applications using MSC ADAMS software. The project required developing a kinematic model in ADAMS and performing velocity, acceleration, force, and torque analysis of moving links, with results presented as graphs. The document outlines an introduction, procedure, and planned data and results section, but does not include the results of implementing the procedure or analyzing the mechanism.

Final Project: Quick Return Mechanism

Abstract
Introduction
The purpose of the lab was to design, build, simulate, and evaluate a
quick return mechanism used in many manufacturing applications in the MSC
ADAMS software suite. The project would require the implementation of all
skills developed over the course of the ADAMS tutorials. The deliverables of
the project should include the kinematic model developed in ADAMS, as well
as the velocity, acceleration, force, and torque analysis of all moving links
represented as graphs.
