Neral Guidelines For Assignments
AsiaeUniversity
1.
All assignments must be the original work of the student. Students can discuss assignment
questions in groups, download material from the internet, etc., but the assignment must be
the original work of the student.
2.
Lecturers will indicate on the assignment if it is felt that the assignment is not the original
work of the student.
3.
AeU reserves the right to re-mark and check all assignments which have evidences of
plagiarism and take action on the student, as may be deemed appropriate, including the
deduction of marks and the grant of a Grade F (Fail) to the paper.
4.
Students are advised to only allocate minimum 12 pages and maximum 30 pages in total for
the whole assignment.
5.
Students must strictly adhere to assignment submission deadlines set by the lecturer for a
module ie.30 days from the date of the module. For late submissions, i.e. after 30 days but
before 40 days, there will be a penalty of 10% reduction on marks allocated for the
assignment. Assignments submitted after 40 days without acceptable reasons and
supporting documents (e.g. accidents, hospitalization, death, work related overseas
assignments, etc.) will be rejected in which case the student has to re-sit the module. Resitting involves attending the module again and doing all assignments and exercises given.
A fee will be imposed as deemed appropriate.
