The format of my production is a chat show.
The outline of my interview proposal will be a film review involving my
group asking people for their opinions on the recent films. The expert I am thinking of interviewing is Ben Mallaby who happens to be a short film director and a lecturer at Ravensbourne. I can contact him by calling him 07739691020 or by sending him an email at [email protected] They will be able to contribute their opinions on what they thought on a recent film such as Fast and Furious 7 or Taken 3 and what he liked or disliked. I will also ask what he would have changed if he was directing such films. The location I am thinking that it is suitable to do my interview is in Ravensbourne because it has a studio and it has big environment. I am saying this because I cannot use two camera to interview people outside of college so I will have to use a handy camera and a tripod. If a get to interview him, we will talk about his recent independent work and how he made it to where he is now. I am also going to ask him what inspiration was given to him to become a director plus the award and nomination he received for his short film. The ten questions I will ask him are:
1. What film did you like that you watched recently?
2. What did you like or dislike about the film? 3. As a director yourself, is there anything you would have changed in the film? 4. Could you explain more about your newest project Guy and Doll? 5. What inspired you to become a director? 6. How and where did you start with filming? 7. How did it feel to get your films screened in many festivals? 8. What type of reviews did you receive for Milk? 9. What made you want to become a film lecturer? 10.What is next in line for you? Will you start going for major promotions and start a directing career in America?
