History
The first such devices to hit the market were called the Tablet PC. These devices were
operated with the touch of a pen and uses the same operating systems on conventional
computers, sometimes slightly adapted for use with touch screens.
The popularization of this type of equipment began to come up with the launch of the
iPad [2] Apple Inc. - which had been responsible for the spread of MP3 players and
smartphones eliPod iPhone - in January 2010, inspired by the success of smartphones,
which uses a finger touch screen, eliminating special pens, and an operating system
used on ordinary computers operated by the mouse and keyboard.
