Job Responsibilities:
1. 3-Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) of whole car assembly which includes Interiors,
Exteriors, Powertrain, Underbody and BIW parts using Teamcenter Vis-VSA (Vis-Mockup) to
study fits & function and appearance.
2. Detailed validation and analysis of the features and its tolerances contributing to the variation
for the respective interfaces.
3. Suggesting the geometric tolerances to achieve the expected variation from the nominal for a
specific interface.
4. Supporting the plant manufacturing line to resolve the problems in assembly due to
dimensional variation by suggesting the locator strategy.
5. Conducting regular meetings with respective DVA Engineer, D&R Engineer, PD Engineer,
Manufacturing engineer and other Cross- functional team members.
6. Updating the pdo with the latest revision of tolerances and locators as per drawings and CAD
from Teamcenter Engineering as a part of maintenance phase.
7. Evidence book creation and summary sheet validation.
8. Involving in Work-group related activities to enhance efficiency, quality and continuous
improvement.
