Circular Column Design

This document provides the design calculations for a circular concrete column subject to axial load and biaxial bending. It analyzes two cases - a short column and a slender column. For the short column, the effective lengths in the x and y directions are calculated to be less than 10 times the diameter, qualifying it as short. Reinforcement is designed based on the interaction diagram. For the slender column, the effective lengths exceed 10 times the diameter, so P-Delta effects are considered. An iterative approach is used to calculate the additional moment due to P-Delta and design the reinforcement.
