Terminator Salvation Script

Marcus Wright encounters a T-600 Terminator in the ruins of a destroyed city. When the T-600 opens fire, Kyle Reese saves Marcus and they take cover. Kyle devises a plan to defeat the T-600 by dropping heavy objects on it, eventually crushing it under an immense weight and shutting it down permanently. Marcus and Kyle then escape with Star to continue their mission in the destroyed city.

INT. CITY RUINS - DAY


CLOSE UP SHOT - CAMERA 1 - FOCUS & FOLLOW
Marcus Wright walks forward and observes his surroundings.
MEDIUM SHOT - CAMERA 2 - FOCUS & PAN
He is looking at a destroyed "RED CLOWN TOY COMPANY INC" and
looks down to see a large mass of rubble on the floor.
ESTABLISHING SHOT - CAMERA 1 - STEADICAM
A view of the street that is in ruins with some objects on
fire. Marcus is faintly seen walking in the back.
CLOSE UP SHOT - CAMERA 1 - FOLLOW
Marcus walks forward and thinks he sees something.
CUT IN - CAMERA 1 - STEADICAM
Marcus sees someone in the distance standing.
CUT BACK TO MARCUS
MARCUS
HEY!
WS - CAMERA 2 - STEADICAM
The T-600 creaks as it turns to look at Marcus. Only the
back of the head is seen with Marcus standing at the back.
CLOSE UP SHOT - CAMERA 2 - STEADICAM
Marcus looks on in confusion and remains silent, and so does
the T-600. After staring at eachother the T-600 moves
forward.
CLOSE UP SHOT - CAMERA 1 - FOLLOW
Close up of the T-600 minigun as it starts to fire.
WS - CAMERA 2 - FOLLOW & PAN
Bullets rapidly hit the dirt and explode upwards to create
dusty clouds towards Marcus and he is stunned and frozen.
Suddenly a stranger comes in and pushes Marcus to the ground
whilst hushing him. They take cover behind a bus as the
T-600 pauses, steps forward and begins shooting again.
Bullets hit the floor again.

LOW ANGLE - CAMERA 2 - FOLLOW


Low angle of the T-600s giant feet clunking forward as it
shoots. Switch to front to show the feet stepping on
hundreds of bullets and crushing a human skull. T-600 again
pauses but then opens fire again.
HIGH ANGLE - CAMERA 3 - STEADICAM
Mysterious character cuts a line to drop a heavy box of
metal pipes to the floor, catching the T-600s legs.
LOW ANGLE - CAMERA 2 - FOLLOW
T-600 falls face down and is dragged into the air and is
suspended there. It creaks and makes mechanical noises as it
struggles to get loose. Two characters look on as T-600
dangles in the air.
MEDIUM SHOT - CAMERA 2 - FOCUS & PAN
Mysterious character removes mask and goggles, revealed to
be Kyle Reese
KYLE
COME WITH ME IF YOU WANT TO LIVE

MEDIUM SHOT - CAMERA 2 - FOLLOW


Marcus and Kyle run and attempt to escape the T-600.
MEDIUM SHOT -CAMERA 1 - FOLLOW
Upside down, the T-600 searches for Marcus and Kyle, switch
to view from T-600s eyes scanning the area. T-600 again
shoots at the ground. Marcus and Kyle run into the abandoned
building.
HIGH ANGLE - CAMERA 1 - STEADICAM
The T-600 looks up at its leg and shoots it to set itself
free and then thumps onto the ground. It gets up and creaks
while Kyle and Marcus run up some stairs.
MEDIUM SHOT - CAMERA 2 - FOLLOW
T-600 goes to the abandoned building and releases a small
bomb to open the building. Kyle and Marcus escape the
building to meet Star and Kyle gives sign language
instruction. Star puts down the shotgun to run to somewhere.

WS - CAMERA 2 - FOLLOW
Kyle and Marcus continue to run as Kyle grabs a gun and Star
cuts a wire. A heavy vehicle begins to drop.
HIGH ANGLE - CAMERA 1 - STEADICAM
The T-600 is crushed under the immense weight
MEDIUM SHOT - CAMERA 2 - FOLLOW
The T-600 slowly shuts down while the minigun shoots its
head. The red eyes fade to black.
