Create a Weebly account
1.1. Enter the URL: http://www.weebly.com and do the registration as follows:
1.2. Retype the above URL and log onto weebly.com again.
1.3. You may choose a theme for your website.
1.4. Then choose a domain name for your website:
2. Create your Site
2.1. To change the layout of your pages, on the top menu bar, click Page. Then
click Home and click Choose a layout. Then select your desired layout.
2.2. To edit your home page, select an item from the left-hand menu and drag it to
your desired location on your page.
2.3. By making reference to http://educ1015-2016.weebly.com , edit your page.
2.4. You may edit the image banner by putting the mouse on the image and click
Edit Image
2.5. On the top menu bar, (1) BUILD refers to building the content of your page;
(2) DESIGN refers to the selecting a theme for your site; (3) PAGES refers
to adding new pages or choosing a layout for your page; (4) SETTINGS refers
to changing the page settings; and (5) PUBLISH refers to publishing your site
to the public:
2.6. To change the URL or domain name for your website, click SETTINGS. For
Site Address, click Change as shown below:
2.7. Choose the option Use a Subdomain of Weebly.com and enter your desired
name and click Continue. That will become the URL of your website. Submit
the complte URL of your Weebly site to Session 1 Forum of BUMoodle.
2.8. To publish your site, then on the top right-hand corner of the menu bar, click
PUBLISH.
3. Create a page for the short story Eleven
3.1. By making reference to http://educ1015-2016.weebly.com , create a page for the
short story Eleven. On the left Pages menu, click + and choose a standard
page.

3.4. To create an exercise, you may drag the item Survey from the left-hand panel
onto your page. Then edit the items accordingly.
3.5. Upon completing the exercise, the results will be saved in the database.
3.6. To access the data, you may visit the www.weebly.com as a site administrator
and click Stat and then Form Entries. The results will then be listed as shown
below.

You can drag the Forum icon from the left-hand menu to your desired
location of your page.
3.8. To edit the title of your page, click PAGES, then assign a name to your page.

Create a page for global affairs with news feeds from CNN which include top

4.1. To create a new page, click PAGES and click + Add
4.2. To add a CNN news feed to your page, you have to identify the URL link of
CNN. You may do a Google search for CNN news feed or access the links
directly from http://edition.cnn.com/services/rss/
4.3. Then drag FEED READER from the left Menu to your page and key in the
rss address.
4.4. You may try other news feed from other sites such as BBC.

Create a page for food and culture as shown in http://educ10152016.weebly.com
To embed an external webpage, on the left-hand menu of your Weebly page,
drag the icon Embed Code onto the desired location of your page and type in

6.1. Paste the html code of your Google map on to the Embed Code panel.
