Using Existing Magazine Conventions

• I used the music magazine Q magazine. I used one of the


issues of the magazines contents page, cover and double page
spread which I used to try and make my own magazine look as
realistic and professional as I could.

Conventions That I Used
• I tried to incorporate the layout of Q magazines contents page,
by putting a block of images on the right hand side of the page
and also by using block sub headings throughout the contents
page.
• I also used the white background as I think that it makes the
magazine appear more contemporary and I like that effect.
• I also used the large page numbers.
