First Day Presentation

This document outlines the expectations and procedures for a geometry class taught by Ms. Weachter. The class will focus on learning mathematical concepts and developing logical thinking skills. Students are expected to be responsible, respectful, and kind. They must have permission to leave the classroom and will be dismissed by the teacher, not the bell. The grading policy emphasizes showing work for full credit and assigns point deductions for late work. Tests, quizzes, homework, projects, and participation will determine a student's final grade. Ms. Weachter then introduces herself and asks students to do the same by answering questions to help the class get to know each other.

ABOUT ME
I grew up in Northern Virginia with my parents

and older brother Kevin.

I attended Bridgewater College; I majored in
math and minored in Philosophy and Religion.
My favorite thing to do is be outside, playing
sports and being active.
I was born at the end of July, but like spring the
best.
I like that I am goal-oriented and have a goofy
personality.
My goal is to be a teacher that you will learn a lot
from about math and general life skills.
