Work experience:
- Worked in close conjunction with the broking and planning departments to prepare proposals and
client reports. Resolved any issues to ensure that client timing and target requirements were met.
- Would often work on a number of high profile direct marketing campaigns simultaneously which
taught me how to prioritise and manage heavy workloads independently.
- Excellent communication skills required to act as primary contact to suppliers and to interact in a
manner to ensure the highest service quality.
- My role involved developing and maintaining relationships with football teams from the Premier
League and Football League to ensure maximum publicity for the Sport Relief campaign.

- Duties involved examining and editing digital content for the launch of an online campaign and

- Effectively communicated and negotiated with customers in this commission based role. Good time-
management used to cope with the demands of a job during full-time education.
- Full time position in Insolvency Services secured following a two week work-experience placement.

professional attitude was praised during my time aiding senior management.

Voluntary work:
As a volunteer in an Oxfam branch I was entrusted with the responsibilities of handling finances, stock
rotation and answering queries about the charity. My tasks included elements of visual merchandising which
required being inventive and resourceful with display elements. I have also done a sponsored zipwire for
Marie Curie Cancer Care in addition to a skydive and a bungee jump for Cancer Research UK. As a Barnado’s
volunteer, I was responsible for supervising groups of 8-12 year olds with disabilities.
I am a keen martial artist, having won several prizes at club level and national level. My hard work ethic and
adaptable nature meant that in 2007 I was able to undertake a three-month, intensive kung fu course at a
Shaolin academy in China which involved a rigorous training schedule, living in basic conditions and
immersing myself in a new culture.
