Expected Outcomes:
*students will understand about past verbs and participles besides of the differences between them.
*students will know about spelling of past tense verbs (reg-irreg.)
*students will comprehend meaning of past tense verbs in context.
*students will know about the use of past participle verbs in context of present perfect sentences
*students will use their dictionaries and book references in a better way
*students will learn about team work
*students will learn new words, taken from a musical context (song)
Resources:
*notebook
*subwoofer
*students´ book
*dictionary
*piece of paper (lyrics)

Time Comments

Introduction 10 min  Explanation about what is going to be about the class today
 Clarification of the use and form of present perfect on the
board

Core of the class

Pre-stage 10 min  Representing 3 regular verbs on the board, which will be use
in the song, through cartoons (climbed, scaled, kissed,
crawled)
 Pronunciation is practiced through repeating each word,
stressing final sounds to recognize the difference between
present and past participle pronunciation.

While-stage
40 min  the song is played once to know if the students are capable to
recognize at least 1 word in the first part.
 The song is played as much as the students need to fll in the
blanks on the piece of paper (lyrics)
 Students check their answers in the notebook screen

Worship.
October 01st

Post-stage

35 min  Assessment of the missing words. Students go to the front of


the class to write the correct answers on the board.
 To clarify the meaning of the words (irregular verbs) the
students are encourage to check their books on page 126 (list
of irregular verbs)
 To clarify the meaning of new words (unknown) the students
are encourage to check their dictionary and find the correct
significance
Closing
40 min  Students are request to translate the song knowing previously
the meaning of each verb and unknown word
 Students work as a team work with their partners/classmates.
 Students are persuade to help each other
 Teacher incentivates students to work collaborative
 Teacher explains the difference between “help” and “copy”
 Students deliver their pieces of paper to correction
