I wish to apply for the post of Civil Engineer as advertised in a recent
edition of The Modern Construction Engineer Magazine.
I completed my civil engineering way back in 2009. Since then I have been in
Man Infra Construction Ltd from September 2009 to February 2011 and in Kalpataru from
February 2011 to till date.

I enclose my CV/resume which outlines my academic and work experience. As you


can see, I have had comprehensive experience in Civil Engineering and I believe that this
has developed many of the skills you have stated in your advertisement. My course has
enabled me to gain knowledge and understanding of Civil Engineering, Building technology
and Construction as well as risk assessment techniques, legal and regulatory framework,
health and safety and management.

My 1.5 years with Man Infra Construction Ltd has helped me develop my team-work,
communicational, organizational, and research skills and has also exposed me to various
departments including R.C.C work in MIVAN SHUTTERING, finishing works like waterproofing, tiling,
plumbing, drainage lines, painting of residential buildings. My CV demonstrates the variety of work in
the construction sector and the skills that I feel I have gained whilst in this employment. My
presentations. Through work experience I have also learned to communicate with people at various
levels and in situations which require tact .

Having visited your website and read your brochure, I feel that Bresmans Construction will
offer me a challenging and rewarding career as a Construction Engineer.
