MSG 00003

This document discusses OS compatibility issues with the Agilent LogicWave and provides potential solutions. It notes that the LogicWave needs an IRQ associated with the parallel port, but Windows XP does not normally enable interrupts for parallel ports. It refers to an Agilent PDF with troubleshooting tips. A new driver called LogicWave_WinXPSP2.zip is also mentioned that may help get the LogicWave working on newer computers.

It appears the LogicWave needs and IRQ associated with the parallel port. Windows XP does not normally enable interrupts for parallel ports.

Thanks for referring to the PDF support and Diagnostic checklist for LogicWave. I will try out some of the things there and see if I can get the thing to wake up on my newest computers. I'll report back with progress later. mkaras

I was looking around on the Agilent ftp site and found they have released a new driver for the LogicWave (E9340A). See of the LogicWave_WinXPSP2.zip at ftp://ftp.agilent.com/pub/callpub3/ddt/portbls/e9340a does what you need.
