GOALS: NURSE: Provide a structure forming a therapeutic relationship by promoting responsible behavior regarding socialization.

OBJECTIVES: NURSE: Identify sources of frustration. Point out positive feedback or reward for acceptable behavior. Explore alternative, socially and legally acceptable methods of dealing with identified frustrations. Explain effective problem-solving skills. Demonstrate verbal and non-verbal communication techniques. PATIENT: Express negative emotions such as anger and frustrations. Verbalize greater satisfaction with relationships. Ability to accept responsibility. Can role-play alternatives in a non threatening envt. Deals with consequences and works in an acceptable manner. Client can function effectively in society.
