Safety Alert

While high-risk construction and industrial tasks follow strict safety precautions, low-risk routine tasks are often performed with relaxed precautions. However, many fatal accidents have occurred during seemingly easy, regular activities due to minor safety lapses like taking shortcuts, assigning untrained workers, inadequate supervision, or failing to follow lock-out procedures. To prevent future accidents, safety precautions and oversight should be consistently applied to all tasks, even routine or low-risk ones, as laxity can have severe consequences.

constructionandindustrialvicinity.

indicatingthatalltheseaccidentstookplacewhilstcarryoutveryeasyandregular
activities,duetotheminorignoranceofsafetyrequirementsuchas;

Taking Shortcuts
Assignment of Unskilled and / or untrained person for the task.
Assignment of in sufficient Man power for the task.
Lack of supervision
Failure to follow lock-out procedure for minor electrical maintenance work.
Inadequate temporary support for job.
Over confident & under estimate of risk.
