Ramanavami March 312012

Ramanavami was celebrated on March 31, 2012 in the Vayalpatti Ramar Temple near the ashram. Swamiji guided the puja proceedings, which included cleaning the temple premises, decorations, and a puja that started at 10am. The puja involved participants from the ashram's Pathasala Vidyarthis and Gita camp as well as more members of the public than in previous years. The puja concluded at 1pm with the distribution of prasadams.

RAMANAVAMI 31st March 2012

Ramanavami was celebrated on 31st March 2012, in Vayalpatti Ramar Temple near our Ashram, under the guidance of Sri Swamiji. This is an old temple, built in 1927, presently under the administration of a family. We are given special permission to celebrate Rama Navami every year.

The temple premises was cleaned the previous day and simple decorations and lighting were made. The Puja started at 10:00 am

Swamiji guided the Puja proceedings. Pathasala Vidyarthis and Gita camp participants were joined by general public, who had come in more numbers this year.

The Puja was over by 01:00 pm, with distribution of prasadams.
