JACK ROBERTS SIDE EXT. ROBERTS HOUSE - DAY Opposite the Roberts residence, Hoss and Perkins lean against the car. Hoss seems to be rambling, while Perkins tries to keep his cool. HOSS ...and I heard that he chopped them up into little pieces and hid them in the walls... PERKINS Hoss... HOSS ...and then he got horny one night so he dug them out, taped them together, and fucked them til they turned to dust on his... PERKINS (annoyed) Hoss! HOSS ...what? PERKINS Dial down the bullshit. Last thing we need is rumors like those going around town. HOSS Uh, they are all over town. Where do you think I heard them? PERKINS I dont care, alright? Youre meant to act professional. Hoss puts his head down, seemingly taking the advice. But it pops up again and he continues. HOSS ...turned to dust on his dick! And then he... PERKINS (to himself) God, help me. CUT TO - INT. ROBERTS HOUSE - DAY (CONTINUED)

In the living room, Dewey sits opposite JACK ROBERTS (Crispin Glover). Jack nervously brushes his hair out of his eyes and looks up at Dewey, and back at the table. DEWEY You didnt answer the question, Mr. Roberts. JACK (mumbling) I...uh...I...what was the question again? DEWEY Why was the alarm at ______________ turned off last night? From what people have told us, youre normally airtight with security. JACK I guess...I guess I forgot. DEWEY Did anybody else know the code? JACK No. DEWEY Can you think of any way somebody could have found it out? JACK No. DEWEY Can you think of anything that might shed some light on... JACK (interrupting) No. Dewey looks across at Jack, who now stares at him in an unsettling fashion. Dewey stands up and walks towards the kitchen. DEWEY Excuse me for a second. Dewey walks into the kitchen, where Sidney is sitting at the table. Dewey motions back towards Jack and places his finger on his temple suggestively.

DEWEY Is he...you know...OK? Sidney looks at her Uncle compassionately. He is looking at the window towards Hoss and Perkins nervously. SIDNEY Im not the only one with scars, Dewey. END SIDE.
