Simple present
I play tennis. She does not play tennis. Does he play tennis? The train leaves every morning at 8 AM. The train does not leave at 9 AM. When does the train usually leave? She always forgets her purse. He never forgets his wallet. Every twelve months, the Earth circles the Sun. Does the Sun circle the Earth? The Simple Present can also indicate the speaker believes that a fact was true before, is true now, and will be true in the future. It is not important if the speaker is correct about the fact. It is also used to make generalizations about people or things.

Affirmative sentences

Cats like milk. Birds do not like milk. Do pigs like milk? California is in America. California is not in the United Kingdom. Windows are made of glass. Windows are not made of wood. New York is a small city. It is not important that this fact is untrue.

USE 3 Scheduled Events in the Near Future

Negative sentences1-She always forgets her purse.

Hechos o generalizaciones:Se utiliza cuando se cree que algo es verdad, no importa si es mentira lo importante es que crea que es verdad.Se suele utilizar verbos que no se usan en el present continuous como like, love, hate, want,etc. Ejemplos:

1-Cats like milk. 2-California is in America. 3-Windows are made of class. 4-New York is a small city(No es importante si es verdad o mentira lo importante es creerlo).

Hechos programados del futuro:Es muy comn al hablar de transportes pblicos con horario que est programado , pero tambin se utilzan en otras oraciones. Ejemplos:

1-The train leaves tonight at 6 AM. 2-The Bus does not arrive at 11 AM ,it arrives at 11 PM. 3-The party starts at 8 o'clock. 4- When does class begin tomorrow?

Hi there! I'm The Present Continuous Guy. I'm here to tell you what I'm doing at the moment because my life is changing a lot these days. Now I'm not studying, but I'm working in a Body Piercing Tattoo shop. I like tattoos. At the moment I'm wearing nine tattoos and ten piercings. At present I'm playing the guitar in a heavy metal group called "Metal Bananas". This evening I' m playing with some friends in Marbella in a birthday party. I' m going out with a girl, but she's working in the disco today. She isn't coming with me to the party. Are you coming with me guys?
