CIP 2013 Project Report Guidelines

CIP-2013: Project Report Guidelines

The Student Interns are required to follow the Project Report guidelines template to bring uniformity and standardization in the report structure to be submitted. 1. Each student intern will have to submit two copies of the Project Report. One copy of the report will be returned to the student intern after the presentation. Students are also required to mail the final copy of the report to [email protected] with CC to their respective FM. 2. The cover page of the Project Report must be hard bound in Navy Blue Color with golden embossing. 3. The text material should be typed with one and a half spacing between the lines. Twelve point font size is to be used in Times New Roman font. 4. The Title (including sub-heading) on the cover page should be of 14 font size, Caps and Upper Case, Bold and Centered. 5. Other details on the cover page should be in Times New Roman font of size 12 and layout as per Annexure A. 6. A left-hand margin of approximately 3-3.5 cm is to be left for adequate space for binding. The top margin of the first page and of the first page of each succeeding chapter/Section should be 4 cms. Other top margins, the right side and bottom margins should be a minimum of 2.5 cm in size. 7. The Project Report must include a copy of the Corporate Internship Program completion certificate from the Company with details of the project start and end date, the project title, project location and the name and designation of the CM. 8. Since CIP is a full three credit course, the Project Report should range in length between 4060 pages with a deviation of five pages. Project Report Structure Two Cover pages (one hard bound) (Refer Annexure-A for the standard format) Copy of the Certificate from the Company Mentor (On Company Letter Head) Table of contents (Ref Annexure-B for details) The broad headings of the Chapters will be the following:Chapter I Chapter II Chapter III Chapter IV Chapter V Chapter VI Executive Summary Introduction to the Sector/Company Review of Literature Project Objectives Project Methodologies Adopted Analysis of Data Collected/Description of Work performed
