INT. MUSEUM - DAY The Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

A odd looking man with a handlebar mustache and a lithe woman dressed in black dress move briskly through the museum. At preciously 3:00 P.M. the couple stops in front of the painting Woman With a Flower Head by Salvador Dali. The woman produces and puts on an extravagant hood covered in bright red, yellow and orange flowers. The mustached man kneels beside her. The man and woman perfectly reimagine the famous painting behind them. A large crowd gathers and a smattering of applause rings out. INT. SECURITY ROOM - MUSEUM - DAY Technicians and guards hustle about the large monitoring station. A GUARD sees the video of the unusual display and signals to his supervisor, RAY, (45), whos a bit portly. GUARD 1 Uhh... Ray? Take a look at this. Ray waddles over and studies the screen. RAY What the hell? INT. MUSEUM - DAY Elsewhere in the museum: - An old woman, wearing a black dress and white lace bonnet takes her place in front of the painting Whistlers Mother. - A group of patrons, unfurl small compact umbrellas and pose in front of Renoirs Umbrellas. Confusion ensues amongst impressed patrons and befuddled museum staff. INT. SECURITY ROOM - DAY Another GUARD calls Ray over.

GUARD 2 Ray. Heres another. The Whistler. Ray spins around and stares shocked at the feed. Then another GUARD shouts out. GUARD 3 (O.S.) And the Renoir. South Hall. Ray is flabbergasted. RAY Did I miss a memo? INT. MUSEUM GALLERY - DAY In another museum gallery: - A man in a blue frock crumples down in front of Picassos Guitarist. - Three small children freeze hand in hand to recreate Winslow Homers In the Mowing. All throughout the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, paintings and sculptures are being brought to life. INT. SECURITY ROOM - DAY Phones chirp. Walkie-talkies squawk. Guards cry out. Ray rushes from monitor to monitor. GUARD 1 What do we do? GUARD 2 Shut them down?

RAY Ah! We cant kick them out. They havent done anything wrong. Keep watching. Keep dispatching staff. GUARD 3 Were out of personal. GUARD 1 Another one. Fourth floor. INT. MUSEUM ENTRANCE - DAY At the base of the large main entrance sits the massive sculpture - Tony Smiths Smoke.

CALEB, (23), wearing a hat and sunglasses, carries a backpack through the museum entrance. Lost in a crowd of people, Caleb drops a number of makeshift smoke grenades. The large black arms of the sculpture are soon engulfed with dense smoke. INT. SECURITY ROOM - DAY Alarm bells go off. GUARD 2 Ray. Weve got smoke. GUARD 1 (O.S.) Entrance. The Smoke sculpture.

RAY What is wrong with these people? Various personnel stare aghast at Ray awaiting orders. He melts under the pressure, muddy with indecisiveness. INT. MUSEUM - DAY Smoke floats throughout many of the galleries. Patrons and museum personal scurry for clear air. Caleb dons a mask and pair of night vision goggles from his backpack. He continues lobbing smoke grenades making a path to the Surrealism gallery in the next room. INT. MUSEUM - SURREALISM GALLERY - DAY Amidst a cloud of smoke stands, JACK, (24), masked and wearing night vision goggles. He waits, tapping his foot in front of - The Treachery of Images by Rene Magritte. Clouded by smoke Caleb almost burst past Jack as he beelines towards the painting. Jack wrangles him in. JACK Eaaasssy gus. He singles to his watch. Caleb waits.

INT. MUSEUM - DAY In a far wing of the museum... WAGS, (24), peels off fake handlebar mustache. NIKKI, (23), removes a flowered hood. They battle upstream through the frenzied crowds and come to rest in front of a large ornate vase. Keeping an eye on her watch, at exactly 3:15 P.M. Nikki stumbles into pedestal and sends the priceless vase crashing down. INT. SECURITY ROOM - DAY In the surveillance center, a new blaring alarm drones out all the rest. GUARD 1 Wing B! Artifact is off! RAY Jumping jesoesphats The alarm continues to wail. Valuable time is ticking away. Ray finally finds his courage and roars to his staff. RAY (CONTD) Filter all patrons out emergency exits one & two. Bottle-neck and search them. He kicks an office chair out of his way and leaps from monitor to monitor. RAY (CONTD) We have a robbery people! Alert first responders! INT. SURREALISM GALLERY - DAY Roughly twenty-five seconds after 3:15 P.M. Caleb and Jack swiftly work in tandem removing the painting from the wall. After lifting the painting, the two young men disappear into the smoke. GUARD 2 Ivory urn is off!

EXT. MUSEUM - DAY Shuffled amongst the mass of shell-shocked people. Wags, Jack, Nikki and Caleb all individually filter out of the museum and through security bottlenecks. It appears none of them have the stolen painting. Eventually the four of them meet up at the outdoor Urban Lights sculpture in front of the museum. The sculpture is a maze of lightposts. CALEB Total bunk. WAGS What? Caleb playfully bangs his head against a lightpost. JACK Use your words Caleb. NIKKI Shout it from the hilltops. CALEB Not one laser. Nikki. Not one! Almost a year of practice, and this shitty museum doesnt have the decency to install one damn laser! They share a laugh, reveling in their accomplishment. Jack hands Nikki a receipt from the Museum Gift Shop. JACK Sally Burnside. INT. SURREALISM GALLERY - NIGHT Hours later... The smoke has dissipated from the scene of the crime. Ray and a slew of law enforcement agents stare dumbfounded at a piece of paper left behind where Rene Magrittes The Treachery of Images once hung. The note reads - Ceci sans aucun doute nest une pipe. ~ SUPER: This is definitely not a pipe.
