My Dear Parishioners: On Tuesday, September 24 at 7:00pm there will be a joint meeting of the Parish Council and Finance Council. The Parish Finance Council will be presenting the year-end financial report to the Parish Council. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria. This meeting is open to any parishioners who would like to attend and gain a greater understanding of the finances of St. Augustine Parish. The full financial report is available in the rectory for anyone who would like to see it. Culture of Life: The next Culture of Life meeting will be held September 17 in the rectory following Mass and Benediction. Please lend your voice and heart in prayer and action. All are welcome to join the weekly Holy Hour for Religious Freedom on Wednesdays from 1-2:00pm and/or the Holy Hour for Life held on the first Friday of each month from 11-12:00pm. The next ST. AUGUSTINE WOMEN OF FAITH meetings are scheduled for 10-11:30 am and 6:30-8:30 pm on Tuesday, September 17. The Soup Kitchen served over 7,000 meals to the less fortunate in Barberton in 2012. All proceeds keep the Soup Kitchen going!
