About IIM Tiruchirapalli

Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli, started in 2011, is the 11th member of the prestigious and elite IIM fraternity. The school started with the vision of preparing young minds to contribute to the betterment of the global society. The students have qualified from the crme-a-crme of institutions and come from diverse backgrounds.

HIGHLIGHTS OF IIM TRICHY


The culture at IIM- Trichy revolves around its motto Gyanam Anantham, establishing its belief of creating value through the pursuit of continuous learning. One of Indias financial stalwarts M. Damodaran, former SEBI Chairman, heads its board of governors and the venerable Dr. Prafulla Agnihotri, recipient of prestigious Bharat Jyothi Award, holds the position of the Director. We boast of a group of 22 permanent faculty from reputed brand names like IIM, IIT and NUS. An erstwhile capital of Tamilnadu, Tiruchirapalli (or Trichy) is well connected to major cities, enabling access to corporates and faculty from other institutes.

THE CHENNAI CENTRE The Post Graduate Programme in Business Management (PGPBM) at the Chennai Centre is one of the flagship programmes of IIM Tiruchirapalli (IIMT).

ON ARCTURUS
Arcturus is the annual management fest of IIM Trichy. The fest derived its name from the brightest star -Arcturus in the constellation Bootes on which our ideology is based, i.e., Radiating Excellence. Arcturus13 had a wide spectrum of events cover various management fields such as Marketing, HR, Finance, Consulting, IT and Operations. Arcturus13 witnessed a moving crowd of over 5000 managers with over 1700 teams from Indias top notch Business Schools participating across 12 major events and a set of on the spot events. The Fest was followed on social media as well with over 2o00 fb likes and 2500 unique visitors on Arcturus website.
