Is pursuing a degree or has obtained one. Open minded and sensitive regarding religious beliefs and culture. Possesses or currently pursuing a bachelors degree. Proficient in utilizing social media. Strong copyediting skills Excellent English reading, writing and speaking. Demonstrable interest in education, NGO, and poverty alleviation issues.

Recommended Confident, flexible, responsible and motivated. Some web design/graphic design background. Basic photography and video skills. Experienced using Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of InDesign, Dreamweaver or Illustrator. Allowance

This is an unpaid volunteer internship. Volunteer internships lasting longer than 4 months may receive an allowance on a caseby-case basis. Food and Accommodation will be provided to all volunteer interns.

Duties and Responsibilities The intern is expected to perform the following tasks:

Assist in daily communications work Monitoring major news outlets and preparing relevant information for HQ departments. Editing and proofreading. Responding to internal and external requests for information. Maintaining press contact database and administering distribution channels.

2. Work closely with corporations, multinationals and NGOs that support SOLS 24/7 education programs and social enterprises. 3. 4. Support the development of fundraising and communications materials. Gather media and market research. Assist with developing sponsorship proposals for potential partners. Contribute to the development of marketing plans for future projects. Assist in promoting the INGO to third parties Reach out to orphanages and underprivileged communities. Assist with creation and distribution of advertisements and other promotional items. Prepare media related promotional content (video, photos, music). Help raise the INGOs social media presence. Liaise with partner institutions and other NGOs for funding and networking purposes.

5. Undertake other community development work Jointly conduct community work with SOLS 24/7 as and when appropriate. Organize formal and non-formal functions for the institute. 6.
