This is my 9th year teaching. I taught 1st grade for 5 years & this is my 4th year in 3rd grade. I attended Georgia College, NGCSU & Piedmont for my 3 degrees. My favorite subject to teach is math. I love watching my students grow and learn throughout the year. One of my favorite parts of the school day is when I get a chance to read a book aloud to my students! I am married to Josh w/ a baby girl on the way at the end of February. In my free time I enjoy reading and spending time with family & friends.

Healthy School Initiative
We are only two steps away from achieving Bronze level toward Healthy Schools Program-Alliance for a Healthier Generation. We are working toward Bronze by increasing our physical fitness and movement time per week by 15 minutes. We are also increasing our health education by 15 minutes a week by reducing candy in the school and replacing snacks with healthier choices and talking more about healthy eating habits.
