Second Semester Learning/Credit Recovery Pace Chart:

WEEK Assignments (Keep all printed material including this pace Date Due-Fill in

1 Read lessons *5.01-5.04. Do assessments 5.01-5.04. Print the Fill in due date
terms in lesson 5.01; you will need these terms for the 5.02
assessment and the semester 2 exam. **Four assignments
due this week**
Need honors credit? Make sure you complete 5.09
Honors component.

2 Read lesson 5.05 and print the notes you take on the Fill in due date
propaganda techniques. Complete assessment *5.05 (test)

Read lesson 6.01 and print the module terms. You will need **Four assignments
these terms for your 6.02 assessment and the semester 2 due this week**
exam.
(You do not need to complete the 6.01 assessment.)

Read lesson 6.02, Complete assessment *6.02 (test on terms)

Read lesson 6.08. You must do option B (You can NOT choose
option A, the diamante poem).
For option B on 6.08, choose one of the five poems presented
in lesson 6.08 for your option B poetry analysis chart. Turn in
the *option B poetry analysis chart for assessment 6.08
(remember, you must use one of the 5 poems from this
lesson).

Read lesson 6.11 and call for *6.11 oral discussion. You will
read your selected 6.08 poem to me over the phone.
Discussion to follow.

Need honors credit? Make sure you complete 6.12


Honors component.
3 Read Lesson 7.01 and print the module terms. You will need Fill in due date
these terms for your semester exam. (You do not need to
complete the 7.01 assessment.)

Read “Romeo and Juliet” on-line (click the blue highlighted link **Three
to on-line play found in lesson 7.03). You may also obtain the assignments due
1968 DVD version of the play from your local library, video this week**
store, or online movie site such as Netflix.com. Ask me for
additional details and resources if needed.

*Complete “Romeo and Juliet Character Description Chart”


document that I will send you (you need this to prepare for
semester exam). You will submit this document in assessment
7.03 (in place of the course lesson 7.03). There is also a link to
this required chart on the course announcement page.

Read lesson 7.04, Submit assessment *7.04 part A only –you


do not have to complete part B of this 7.04 assignment.

Read Lesson 7.07 and submit assessment* 7.07 (test)


Need honors credit? Make sure you complete 7.10
Honors component.
4 Read lesson 8.02, and submit assessment *8.02 (written Fill in due date
assignment)
Read lesson 8.04, and submit assessment *8.04 (written **Two assignments
assignment) plus the semester
Call for your semester 2 exam (9.02) password. Take your exam due this
semester 2 exam. week**

NOTE: Honors Students will NOT receive HONORS


credit unless these three assignments have been
completed: module 5 honors component 5.09, module
6 honors component 6.12, and module 7 honors
component 7.10

NOTE: Students who need HONORS credit will also complete the honors components at the end
of modules 5, 6, and 7.
