COMPETITION RULES
COMPETITION AREA
The competition will take place on 6 tatamis 6m by 6m.

COMPETITION MODE
Standard knock-out system with a double repechage (losers to the semi-finalists get to fight again). In a category with 5 competitors or less, a round-robin system will be used. In case of 2 competitors in a category, the best-of-three system will be used.

APPLICATION
Please fill in the entry form and send it to us before 10 November 2014.

ENTRY FEE
Entry fee: 12 per athlete

WEIGH-IN
Official weigh-in will be held on the day of the competition according to the programme. Each athlete must present their passport or identity card.

DRAW
Computerised draw on the day of the competition. If a team has 3 or more competitors in one weight category, the coach may come to the main desk prior to the draw and assign the two seeded players who will then be put on the opposite sides of the draw table.

MEDAL CEREMONY
The medal ceremony for each age group will take place 15 minutes after the last fights in that group. All athletes must come to the medal podium wearing a judogi.

AWARDS AND PRIZES


The first three athletes in each category will receive medals; the winners will also receive practical awards. The best male and female judoka by judges decision in each age category will receive trophies. The best five teams will receive trophies.

NOTICE
All athletes and coaches have to accept the authority of the officials and act in accordance with the principles of judo. The judges decisions are final and can not be disputed. The organiser reserves a right to make changes to the schedule and the rules of the competition due to unforeseen circumstances. The organiser will not be held responsible for possible injuries or theft of personal items.

On Sunday, 16 November, after the ZM Koroka Open competition for cadets, the first Turpal-Ali Kadyrov memorial with prize money in total of 7000 will be held. The competition will be organised by our club together with Judo club Edelweiss from Grozny, Russia.

DURATION OF CONTESTS
3 minutes

COMPETITION MODE
The participants will be split into groups of 4 teams where they will fight each other. The best 2 teams from each group will advance. The remaining teams will be put into draw and will fight by the standard knock-out system without repechage. The losers in the semi-finals will fight for third place.

RULES OF THE COMPETITION

a team can consist of up to 8 athletes; they must all be of the same nationality (can be from different clubs); each athlete can compete in his own weight category or the next higher category; all athletes in a team must wear a judogi of the same colour (all white or all blue).

APPLICATION DEADLINE
Monday, 10 November 2014 If the number of applied teams will be too great, the teams who applied sooner will have priority on first-comefirst-served basis. In case of a resignation of one of the pre-registered teams, it will also be possible to apply the day before the competition until 5 pm.

ACCREDITATION AND DRAW


The accreditation will be held in the Sports hall on Saturday, 15 November at 5 pm, or after the end of the competition ZM KO 2014 for U16. A coach of each team must attend to confirm the entry of their team or to add or make changes to their competitors. The draw will take place after the accreditation.

ENTRY FEE
Boys: Girls: 100 per team 40 per team

Entry fee is paid at the accreditation.

WEIGH-IN
The weigh-in will take place on the day of the competition according to the programme. All athletes who participated in the U18 individual event will not be required to come to the weigh-in. 6
