Skills and work solutions are recruiting an Administrator to provide exemplary front of house customer service support for
all staff, customers and visitors to The Works.
To be based in The Works

The duties of the job include:

To provide front of house customer service support for all staff, customers and visitors to the Works.
To provide professional administrative support for all duties undertaken by the Works Centre Manager & staff
To be the initial host for any visitor to the Centre
To provide initial information to prospective customers or any other enquiring member of the public
To assist with the smooth running of the Centre, including daily setting up and resourcing & timely reporting of any
premises related issues
To co-ordinate the collection and recording of all customer information details and pro-active tracking as required for
internal and external purposes
To undertake general office and administrative duties such as upkeep of Centre appearance, stationary ordering,
production of resources, petty cash, opening mail and answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries
Marketing, telephone and email canvassing to promote the service to partner organisations and potential customers
To actively participate in all associated Administration work
To provide a secretariat service to all centre based colleagues (NCS, Work Programme & Aspire)
To ensure that Skills and Work Solutions Equality & Diversity policy is implemented at all times
To undertake any other relevant duties commensurate with the level of this post as specified by the Centre Manager
Opening, closing and security of the Centre (in conjunction with the Centre Manager & other staff)


We would like to hear from you if you have/are:

Experience in a similar role
Experience of providing Information or Advice
IT skills, e.g. use of Microsoft Office suite (word, excel, power point and outlook)
A high degree of attention to detail and have ability to achieve high speed/accuracy data inputting
The ability to prioritise and organise workload
Outstanding customer service standards
The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
