then he !einstein "ompany logo appears by fading in# he logo
stands out as the background is a dark colour and the logo is $hite
$hich instantly dra$s the audience to the logo# %sing this logo at
the beginning & seconds of the 'lm is going to dra$ the audience
in as he !einstein "ompany have distributed 'lms such as he
(ings Speech and ) *on+t (no$ ,o$ She *oes it# hese 'lms have
actors such as Sarah -essica Parker and "olin Firth. $hich are /0list
celebrities and are kno$n all across the $orld# his makes the 'lm

company $ork $ith some great actors and help create fantastic
'lms# here is non0diegetic sound $hich is dramatic music playing
at the very beginning as $e cant see $here the music is coming
from# /lso you hear a voice0over of a man talking $hilst there is a
he plain black background is on the screen for 12 seconds and
then the audience see a man looking out to$ards the $indo$# he
voiceover is no$ diegetic sound as $e can see the character and
kno$ no$ that it he is talking# he character looking out the
$indo$ suggests he hasn+t been outside for long period of time
and feels trapped inside the building he is in# !ithin 3 seconds of
sho$ing the back of this character $e then hear a non0diegetic
sound of another character but $e cannot see him# /nother non0
diegetic sound is a knock on the door. $hich $e can only hear. but
!hen this shot is sho$n there is no sound at all# here are three
shots sho$n on the room he is in. they sho$ the door. bedside
table and then his bed# he room looks very small and lonely $hich
gives the impression he hasn+t got much money and isn+t doesn+t
o$n his o$n house and is staying some$here# 4ach shot of his
room is sho$n for & seconds. $hich is enough for the audience to
take note of the items in the room# he black bin on his bed
connotes that his items of clothing are in there and he doesn+t
really care about them as they are in a plastic carrier bin 5ust
his is a close0up shot# he camera pans around his face to sho$
his e6pression at all angles# ,e has a very annoyed and frustrated
look on his face. $hich gives the impression. he is not happy about
$here he is# here is dramatic music playing $hen the character is
sho$n $hich connotes there is a lot of drama in his life and the he
has been sent to a place to resolve his issues# he cut on his face
sho$s that he could have been in a 'ght and his hoodie that he is
$earing sho$s that he doesn+t have a very high paid 5ob#
his is a high angle shot# he lightening in the shot suggests he is
getting help as it is very dark at the beginning but in the end there
is light at the end $hen he gets do$n the stairs# here is music
also playing $hen he is going do$n the stairs but there is no
voiceover. $hich makes the audience intrigued to $here he is
about to go to# he high angle shot sho$s that he isn+t very
important as it makes him look very small#
his is a $ide shot and is used to sho$ all of the characters and to
sho$ the setting that they are in# he music begins to be getting
lo$er in volume and $e then hear diegetic sound $hich are people
talking# he lightening in this shot is very much brighter than the
other shots. $hich sho$s the characters are happy to be getting
their feelings of their chest# he main character says 7$e often get
caught in this state of negativity+ $hich sho$s he could be 8uite
depressed and he is in a support group $ith others#
