Dear Sir,

Sub: Proposal for providing pre-bid engineering services for designing 285 USG capacity
stainless steel storage tank proposed at Dubai International Airport.

Ref: Our discussions and email communications with Mr. S.V Naik.
With reference to the above mentioned subject, we are pleased to submit our quotation.
A) SCOPE OF WORK:
a. Designing the tank based on the API, ASME and EI 1596 Standards with wind design as per
BS 6399-Part 2 code and seismic design as per API 650, Appendix/UBC-1997 codes.
b. Providing tender drawing with engineering details
c. Providing Material quantities.
B) DELIVERABLES:
Tank design will be carried out as per latest codes of practice using in-house developed softwares to
produce safe and economical designs. The following are the list of deliverables:

Preparation of tender drawings


Preparation of foundation drawings
Preparation of Material quantities
Submission of design calculations

Sayantrik will be providing the soft copies only. Initially for checking purpose sayantrik will be providing drawings in pdf format only. Once the drawings are approved by the client sayantrik will submit all
the final drawings in ACAD 2004 dwg. All the calculations will be submitted in Pdf format only.
Sayantrik quotation did not include the costs for providing hard copies (prints/ plots). If the client requests for hard copies sayantrik will provide the same at extra cost.
C) TIME SCHEDULE:
Sayantrik will be submitting all the Design documents in 3 week time from the day the project is awarded to Sayantrik. The above schedule is based on the assumption that all required information will be provided by client before the award of project.
D) INCLUSIONS:

Process Adequacy check (capacity & dimension) of flush


Preparation of Mechanical Data sheet
Mechanical Design including GAD of flush tank

Updation of PID

E) PRICE QUOTATION:
1. Total Price for providing Design & Estimation for the above mentioned scope of work is INR
3,70,000 ( Indian Rupees Three Lakhs Seventy Thousand only) Plus Service Tax as applicable
2. Any Engineering efforts required towards change of scope, re-designing/additional engineering on
account of the revised input data and/or site requirements from the Client shall be considered as additional engineering works which shall be discussed and settled as per mutually agreed terms.
3. Sayantrik have not kept any provision for tours, as it is uncertain element. Hence Sayantrik proposes
that cost of all tours out of Hyderabad shall be to Clients account at actuals.
F) EXCLUSIONS:
1. Getting Design Documents/Drawings approved any third party. However Technical assistance will
be provided.
2. Construction Site supervision.
3. Preparation of Bar Bending Schedules.
4. Preparation of Fabrication Drawings.
5. Any other item not specifically included.
