This book is an attempt to learn the best Management Principles taught by SANT KAVI
KABIR (in Hindi) i.e. SAINT POET KABIR.
The holy soul prophet Kabir was from ancient India. The great saint Kabir has shared his
knowledge and philosophies in the form of poems/verses/stanzas in Hindi language, which
mainly include the books popularly known as Kabir Vani (in Hindi) i.e. Kabirs Speech.
The super soul Kabir was not biased towards any particular Religion or God. He was an
independent thinker and philosopher who learnt the real truth of life i.e. true spiritual principles
which are universal in nature and blessed others by sharing his knowledge.
I have only penned down a few of his more intense teachings in just 3 Pages to add maximum
value at the minimum possible investment of our time.
Here the methodology which we will follow is that to quote the original Hindi verses by saint
Kabir and then try to learn the management philosophy from the same.

MITHA SABSE BOLIYE, SUKH UPJE KUCH AUR; YEHI KARAN-VASI MANTRA HEY,
TYAJIYE VACHAN KATHOR:
We should always communicate sweetly, politely, pleasantly and peacefully which is a route to
find and share true happiness. This is the sainted sentence which needs to be kept in mind to
keep away from the use of humiliating, insulting or aggressive language while communicating.
SUNIYE GUN-KI BARTA, AVA-GUN LIJIYE NAHI:
We should give importance only to good qualities of others and should not get influenced or
affected by their negative qualities. A person may be unproductive in many ways but still he/she
will have some qualities that can add value to others. Hence try to pick and also learn from the
good qualities of others for mutual benefit.
TAMAS PI SHITAL BHAYAA, PHIR KACHHU RAHI NA PYAAS:
The one, who can drink/absorb anger, never feels thirsty again. It means that revenge is never
the end solution to our problems. As per Theory of KARMA i.e. principle of ActionReaction; if we cause any problem to others then its an invitation of the same problem for
ourselves, to be experienced by us i.e. we the eternal souls in various journeys of material lives.
Thus if something makes us suffer from problems or feel angry is a reaction of our own past
wrong deeds, may be including earlier births. If rather than responding to it i.e. solving our
problems in a peaceful and constructive way, we again react and take revenge then this cyclical
chain of action- reaction will never end.
Forgiveness is the end solution otherwise we will keep inviting the same problem again and
again for ourselves in future, which will keep us far away from our Salvation/ Moksha/ Nirvana.
TYAG TO AISA KIJIYE, SABKUCH EK HI VAAR; SAB PRABHU-KA MERA NAHI, YEH
NISH-CHAYA VICHAR.
MERA MUJH-MEIN KACHHU NAHI, JO KACHHU HOYE SO TERA, TERA TUJHKO
SOPTE KYA LAGEGA MERA:
We should keep ourselves detached from the trap of extreme material pleasures by practicing
sacrifice or else we become greedy. This will free us from slavery of temporary material
pleasures and lead us ahead towards achievement of permanent spiritual pleasure i.e. Salvation.
The material achievements like money, fame, power etc. are related to our current form of life as
a human-being which is temporary in nature.
However it does not mean complete renunciation of our material responsibilities. We should
find a balance between our personal, professional, social and spiritual goals to justify our
existence as humans and move ahead towards our spiritual development.

CHHODE JAB ABHIMAN KO, SUKHI BHAYAA TAB JEEV; BHAVE KOI KACHHU
KAHE, MERE RUDAY NIJ PIV.
AHAMTA NA AANIYE, JO HARI SINHAASHAN DEY; JO DIL AVE DINTA, TO SAI
APNA KAR LE:
Once we win over our ego, we achieve true peace and happiness out of self-realization. We are
spiritual beings having physical existence until we achieve salvation. We have to detach our own
self i.e. the soul, from material pleasures and pains as applicable to our material form of life.
By concentrating on self and truth through Super-conscious Meditation the soul achieves
Omniscience. When we win over our anger, ego, deception and greed by practicing sacrifice
and forgiveness, we clear KARMA balance, which leads us to complete enlightenment. At the
end of such Human life the soul enters into the Spiritual Space i.e. it achieves Salvation.
Thus the soul wins freedom from material pleasures, pains and formalities attached to various
material forms of lives forever on various material planets Viz. Earth, Heaven and Hell.

We, the eternal souls, currently as human beings possess five senses i.e. touch, taste, smell, sight
and hearing. Our senses are directed by Mind (Brain). Our true inner self, the soul is linked to
the body through mind. Hence to keep our senses under control, we should keep control over our
Mind which manages our material actions i.e. thoughts, speech and physical actions.
Meditation helps in self-realization, which helps in controlling senses utilization related to
material desires and takes us ahead on our spiritual growth path.
PUNYA BADA UPKAR HEY, SABKE UPAR BHAKH; JIV-DAYA CHITTA RAKHIYE,
VED PURAN SAKH:
To help other creatures including poor and needy human beings by way of donation etc., in a
selfless state of mind is the best deed of all. However even above that the best of the best deeds
is to ensure non-violence of each form of life across the globe, which is the universal message as
written in all religious books, as taught by religious preachers / prophets / spiritual teachers etc.
The above teaching is also explained by one more verse as follows:
BADA PAAP HEY HINSHA, TEHI SAMAN NA KOI; DHARMARAI JAB LEKHA
MANGE, TAB SAB NAUBAT HOYE:
The biggest sin of all is violence. If we cause death to other lives including animals, birds and all
other creatures, for any reason, then finally we have to pay back the same as per laws of life by
Nature. It is the Theory of KARMA i.e. Principle of Action - Reaction.

That is why we all believe that if we cause violence then it takes us to Hell i.e. a form of life
which represents the reaction stage to pay for the balance of extreme wrong deeds done by a
soul till his/her previous material lives.
CHANCHAL MAN CHET REY, SOYA KAHA AGYAN; JAB DHAR JAM LE GAYEGA,
PADA RAHEGA MYAN:
The Mind gets misguided by the influence of extreme materialism which is deceptive and
temporary in nature. It does not allow the mind to awake and understand the power of spiritual
intelligence. The true life is the eternal soul, which is an invisible living energy. The soul takes
birth in a material form of life and then takes rebirth in some other material form on death of the
former one, which has no beginning as per the Theory of Karma. The only end to this cyclical
nature of our material existence is Salvation by getting rid of our karmas i.e. material actions.
BHUKHE-KO KACHHU DIJIYE, YATHA SAKTI JO HOY; TA UPAR SHITAL VACHAN,
LEKHO ATMA SOE:
If we can afford then we should always help others who are hungry and needy. It should be
coupled with pleasant talks because each soul is God i.e. Nature. It means that we should
follow mutual help and co-operation and keep away from materialistic comparison, jealousy and
competition because at the end we all are similar souls who represent one God i.e. Nature.
JAN JIV KABU MAT MARO, BHAKTI KARO DAYA UR DHARO; SADHU DEV
BHAKSYA ANKUR AYE, MIN MAD MAAS RAKSHAS KHAY:
We should not kill any life including any bird or animal etc. for any reason. Those who are
vegetarians, represent angels and those who are non-vegetarians, represent devils.
JAGDA NITYA BURA-HEY, JAGDA BURI BALA-HEY; DUKH UPJE CHINTA DE,
JAGDEME GHAR JAYE:
Quarrels which also include wars, terrorism, riots etc. are not a solution to given problems. In
fact it increases the problem. It results in sorrows and also creates worries for all forms of lives
across the globe and we lose all that we have.
SWARG MRUTYU PATAL MEIN, PUR TIN SUKH NAAYE, SUKH SAHEB KE BHAJAN
MEIN, AUR SANTANKE MAAY:
There lies no permanent solution for us into Heaven, Earth or Hell. The ultimate peace and
happiness is only in salvation, which is the peak of our spiritual growth. To achieve the same we
should be blessed with the truth of life. The body is real Temple where the God resides in the
form of soul and Meditation is the actual prayer which can free us from material existence on
these three material planets by taking ourselves into spiritual space i.e. freedom of soul forever.
HUM KACHHU PAKSHAPAAT NAHI RAAKHI, SAB JIVAN KE HIT KI BAAKHI:
The holy soul saint Kabir says that: I am not biased towards any particular Religion or
