Responsibility and role


A.1. Selection of different mechanical items like, Drive power motor,

Coupling, Gear Box, etc.

pulley shaft design, shell design.{all these are done based on tension and power calculation for
conveyor taking into consideration for the required capacity-Tones per hour, the various
equipments attached with it, the lift of the conveyor, and the speed of the conveyor.}
Standard followed- CEMA (Conveyor Equipments Manufacturer Association) or IS (Indian
standard 11592) depending on clients requirements
A.2. Conveyor General Arrangement, Plot Plan Along with Associated
Building & Transfer point based on approved NIT (Notice Inviting Tender) drawings by the
client.
A.3. Detail drawing of chute & technological structure like
a) Head frame, Tail frame along with their Bill Of Material Etc for fabrication.( Based on the
tension calculated)
b) short post c)horizontal and vertical take up frame d)flap gate, diverter gate , rack and pinion
gate and rod gate e)drive base frame and stool
A.4. Client Correspondence to prepare Drawing Planning & Scheduling up to approval, client
compliance report
