Strong Amidst Different Crises Throughout The Years, and Yet Still Has An Engaging Smile
I will prioritize my life based on whats heavier, but still, Ill try to finish them all. Ill
do one thing at a time and see it through to completion. Ill weigh them based to their
importance and time-frame. It's difficult to work your way through the list by cherrypicking and doing a little bit of everything. After several hours, my list will look just like it
looks now: incomplete. Instead of working in little bits, Ill do one thing until it's finished
and then move to the next thing on my list after a short break. Ill not work on something
else on the list until Im finished with the first and most important things.
2. Can you name a person who has a tremendous impact on you as a leader? Maybe
someone who has been a mentor to you? Why and how did this person influence you?
My mom. I was raised by my mother independently because she decided not to
marry again. She has struggled with bringing up a child on her own, and has stayed
strong amidst different crises throughout the years, and yet still has an engaging smile
and that magical twinkle in her eyes as she laughs through life and all its drama. Her
steadfast belief in her childs brilliance and her resilience in the face of adversity is what
has brought me to where I am today. And now, through all her efforts I have found
myself as a optimistic and dedicated woman who takes up duties with utmost
enthusiasm.
I saw her stand-out and thats what she told me, learn to end the question at the
question mark. Leave it open ended, and dont add, extrapolate or explain, she added.
I look-up to her, a woman of positive influence. I want to be able to share my
experiences and knowledge with people that happen to cross my way.
Other than that, I see to it that I complete my projects and assignments in time.
Ive a great amount of perseverance to achieve my goal. My optimistic and planned
approach in the things I do is what driving me towards my success. As how I strive for
perfection in things, I expect the same from others as well. If things go out of control or
go way out of track, I go an extra mile and contribute my efforts in getting things done in
time. And all of these is because of her.
3. Define Leadership in your own opinion and perspective.
The process of influencing others to understand and agree about what needs to
be done and how to do it, and the process of facilitating individual and collective efforts
to accomplish shared objectives.
